JKBOSE Announces Notification for Class 10th and 12th Private Exam Misconduct Cases
Srinagar, 4 November: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued notification for some candidates of Secondary School Examination (10th Class) Annual Private/Bi-Annual Examination 2024 and deferred cases of Higher Secondary Part-II (12th Class) Annual Private;/Bi-Annual Examination 2024. These are all matters related to the malpractice, such as manipulation of answer sheets, use of prohibited materials and other misconduct, the notification reads.
As stated in the notification, the respective students need to appear in front of a Committee for “scrutiny” and “disposal” of such cases of alleged misbehaviour. The Committee will review these incidents and make determinations on a case-by-case basis. The candidates shall appear in person at the Office Chambers of the Joint Secretary, Secrecy, JD in JKBOSE, Rehari Colony, Jammu.
Attendance at this appearance is required and at students’ cost. If the person chooses not to be present, they will be treated as having forfeited their right to defend themselves in person so the Sub-Committee will deliver its decision by way of record only which will be final and binding.
The session consists of two shifts. While in the morning shift, Group I candidates can attend from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Group II candidates will be in the morning shift from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. On the other hand, Group I candidates for the afternoon shift will be scheduled for 2:00 P.M to 3:00 P.M followed by Group II candidates from 3:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M.
